Ambassadors:
Assist with promoting College Park Scholars during recruitment and community events. Help strengthen the Scholars community by offering feedback on a variety of issues and building community across Scholars programs. Learn more about Scholars Ambassadors.

Join this dialogue group of LGBTQ students and allies in Scholars and beyond. Contact Ben Parks for more information.
Lakeland STARs:
Tutor and mentor students at nearby Paint Branch Elementary School. You will be matched one-on-one with a student to provide homework assistance and coordinate free-time activities. Tutoring sessions alternate between on-site at Paint Branch Elementary and Centreville Hall. Learn more about Lakeland STARs.
Peer Advisors:
Student-led groups interested in being involved and improving BSE by coordinating social events, alumni and networking activities, community service projects, etc.
Peer Mentors:
Build community and encourage academic success for incoming students. Sophomores are matched with incoming freshmen to help build connection between cohorts and help guide freshmen through the transition to campus life.Learn more about Peer Mentors.
Real Talk:
Join this dialogue group focusing on the diverse experiences and needs of Scholars students of color. Discussion topics include microaggressions, cultural appropriation, gender/race roles and balance on campus; social media; hot topics in the news, etc. Meets biweekly. Scholars Cup Leadership Team:
Lead the annual Scholars Cup, a series of events designed to raise funds for charity and build community in Scholars throughout the year. Help plan the annual Charity Softball Tournament. Learn more about the Scholars Cup Leadership Team.
Student Advisory Board:
Share ideas and goals on behalf of your classmates, organize events, and serve as a sounding board for new initiatives in the community. Each program has one freshman and one sophomore representative. Additionally, two commuter representatives also serve on the Board. Applications are open each fall semester.
